Pick-A-Knit2 Blanket Pattern

We have resized one of our favorite blankets into a square!  Then added instructions for adding two new colorways: Rosebud and Bluebell, along with our original Woodland. It uses the same knit/purl stitches of basket-weave, zigzag rib and little checker as the original pattern, so it is a great project for a beginner to take their skills to the next level.  

Yarn

Two balls of 194 yd/177m of natural U.S. Organic Cotton with four balls of contrasting colors: Rosebud has two balls each of Pink & Blush, Bluebells has two balls each of Blue & Sky Blue, and Woodland has two balls each of Silver and Doe.

Pattern Specifications

Easy knitting skill level

A U.S. 6 (4mm) 32" circular needle, stitch markers and a tapestry needle are used for the blanket.

With our sport weight U.S. Organic Cotton, we get a gauge of: 18 stitches and 25 rows=4" after washing and blocking.  17 1/2" stitches and 27 rows=4" before washing and blocking.
